Nicot Vertemati Factory Racing kicks off the 2025 season at the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana

Nicot Vertemati Factory Racing officially began its 2025 season this weekend in Albaida with the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana, the opening round of the FIM Supermoto World Championship.

It was an intense weekend marked by great commitment from the team, which worked tirelessly to provide Michael Vertemati with a highly competitive bike.

The season opener offered promising signs for the challenges ahead. Over two days of hard work, Michael received continuous technical support thanks to the team's outstanding effort. Despite being highly motivated, he was unable to fully express his potential, finishing just outside the top 15 in both qualifying and the races. However, his determination and room for growth were evident.

The team remains focused on improving performance and preparing for the next event: the first round of the Italian Supermoto Championship.

Michael Vertemati

"It wasn't the weekend I was hoping for. The team gave it their all, providing me with a great bike, but unfortunately, I couldn't find the speed and pace I had aimed for. We know what we need to work on, and we'll make sure to be ready for the second GP in Sardinia."

Josef Vertemati, Team Manager

"It was a tough weekend for Michael, as he couldn't match the speed he had during winter testing. However, we know what to focus on to improve. Over the next few weeks, we'll work hard to get Michael fighting for the top ten. The team is already fully focused on the first round of the Italian Championship and the next race in Sardinia."
